Setting Up Recurring Tasks

Creating a recurring task within bTask is a breeze. The difference between setting up a basic task and a recurring task is simply specifying the repetition interval. This interval could be certain days of the week, specific days of the month, or distinct days of the year.

To set up a new recurring task:

  1. Tap on the “+” button displayed on your screen.
  2. From the emerging menu, choose the “Recurring Task” option.
  3. You will be presented with the task creation form. Fill out the necessary details related to your task.
  4. Click on the “Repeat” section. This action will prompt a menu where you can select the type of repetition.
  5. Depending on your chosen repetition type, provide the requisite information.
  6. Once you have filled out the necessary details, click on the save button at the top to finalize your task setup.

Upon creation, recurring tasks will be auto-generated over a predetermined duration, which is set to 90 days by default. This duration is subject to change in the future. After the initial 90 days, if the task persists, it will be identified and generated daily. Meaning, on the day following the task’s creation, tasks for the 91st day from the original setup will be generated. The subsequent day will see the generation of tasks for the 92nd day and so on. This ensures that your repetitive tasks remain consistent and in sync with your specified intervals.
