Deleting a Task

Sometimes, tasks are no longer relevant or have been completed, and you might need to remove them from your list. In bTask, the process of deleting a task is designed to be both intuitive and confirmative, to avoid accidental deletions. Here’s how you can safely remove a task:

  1. Access the Task: Whether you’re navigating from the main home screen or the tasks section, tap on the task you want to delete. This action will lead you to the task detail screen.
  2. Locate the Options Menu: In the task detail screen, glance at the top right corner to find an icon resembling three vertical dots. Tap on this icon to reveal a dropdown menu.
  3. Initiate Deletion: From the dropdown list, select “Delete Task”. Upon doing so, a confirmation window will pop up, ensuring that you truly intend to delete the task.
  4. Confirm or Cancel: In the confirmation window, tap “OK” to proceed with the deletion. If you’ve changed your mind or tapped by accident, choose “CANCEL”.

Remember, once a task is deleted, it’s permanently removed from the system. Always ensure you’re certain before confirming the deletion.
